In continuation of the mission of Peace Steps Association to provide rapid humanitarian response and support to the most vulnerable groups amid the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip, the Association has continued its interventions aimed at protecting the rights of orphaned children—particularly those who are injured—and addressing the administrative and legal barriers that prevent them from accessing necessary medical treatment outside the Gaza Strip.

This intervention responds to the urgent need to expedite medical travel procedures for critical cases and to ensure that children can access specialized healthcare services in a timely and dignified manner.

II. Description of the Implemented Activity

During this month, the Association implemented a follow-up activity to facilitate and complete the issuance of official civil documents for orphaned children, especially injured children, in order to enable them to finalize medical referrals and travel procedures for treatment abroad.

The follow-up included the issuance and processing of the following official documents:

  • Birth certificates

  • National ID cards (where applicable)

  • Passports

  • Any additional official documents required to complete medical referral and travel files
